Who am I? I am Melissa. A wife, a photographer. A quiet person who is prone to thinking too much and being too judgmental. However, I am also very kind, a good listener and, been told, pretty damn funny. Hence this blog to keep me from going insane. But most of all, I am a mother. A mother to Max, 5 and Zoe, 2. What does that mean?
It means I don’t get enough sleep. I am up to my elbows in poop. (Seriously, when do kids start wiping their own butts? Enough is enough). It means cleaning up throw up is no big deal. Cleaning marker off the couch is a daily occurrence. I cook approximately half of the day to please the zoo animals (my children), and spend the other half of the day cleaning up the mess.
Somewhere in here, I so supposed to fit in my photography business, doing laundry, taking a shower and time with my husband. Welcome to life with zoo animals disguised as children.
